Mrs. Angela M. Marazzi, age 75, of Medford formerly of Somerville passed away February 25th in home with loving family by her side. She was the beloved husband of Peter A. Marazzi Sr. Born in Somerville she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Batina (Salvi) Marzolini.
Mrs. Marazzi was mostly a devoted wife and mother. She worked for many years as a teacher's assistant with the Tri City Schools and also worked for a number of years as the Program Director at St. Joseph Elementary School in Medford. Her greatest joy was her loving family and she enjoyed cooking for her family and especially preparing special family gatherings during the holidays. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and keeping up with all of their activities. In her leisure time, Mrs. Marazzi loved listening to the music of Frank Sinatra.
In addition to her late parents, Mrs. Marazzi is predeceased by her son, the late Steven J. Marazzi and her brother, the late Joseph Marzolini. She is survived by her husband, Peter A. Marazzi Sr. and their children, John Marazzi of Tewksbury, Peter Marazzi Jr. of Malden, Robert Marazzi of Tewksbury, James Marazzi of Revere and Julia Guthro of Lowell. She was the loving grandmother of Crystal, Nicholas, Charlene, Johnny, Joseph, Ashley, Steven, Angelina, Kevin and Amber. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Ella.
Her funeral services were held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Tuesday, March 2nd, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 8. Services concluded with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Angela's memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
