Hubert Alfred Davis, 63, of Tifton died Thursday, February 25, 2010, in Brookfield. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Jimmie Hinson and Zac Kea will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Davis was born on December 10, 1946 in Tift County and was the son of Carl Huby Davis and Winifred Ann Ramsey Davis, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Jan Davis Franks. He was a self-employed electrician and a member of Lenox Christian Fellowship.
Mrs. Davis is survived by his wife, Kay Ross Davis of Tifton; two sons, Derwin Bryan Davis of Atlanta and Carl Huby Davis Jr. of Atlanta; one brother, Randall Lamar Davis of Tifton; and several nieces and nephews.
