Mr. William J. Rancourt, 101, of Bronx, New York, formerly of Seabrook, NH, Andover, MA and Barefoot Bay, FL, passed away on Wednesday, February 24th, 2010 at the Saint Patrick's Nursing Home in Bronx, NY.
He was born in Lawrence on July 27th, 1908 to the late Paul and Lucy (Goupil) Rancourt. He attended the local schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
William attended Saint Monica Church in Methuen, Massachusetts and was a Mill Worker for the Wood Mills of Lawrence, MA. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Arlene, through Europe and the United States.
Husband of the late Mrs. Arlene (MacDonald) Rancourt who passed away December of 2008.
His family members include:
His stepdaughter: Joyce Quinlan and her husband Robert of Andover, MA
His stepson: George Haigh and his wife Nancy of Belmont, MA.
As well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His nephew: Brother Richard Rancourt of Bronx, NY.
He was the stepfather to the late John Haigh.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Saint Monica's Church in Methuen, Massachusetts.
His burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
