Bobby Reeves, 77, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Friday, February 26, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Steve Hand officiating. Interment will follow in Irwinville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Reeves was born July 13, 1932 in Ben Hill County to the late Howard L. and Millie Tomberlin Reeves. He was a farmer who lived in Ben Hill County most of his life. Mr. Reeves was a member of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Reeves is survived by his wife: Annette Reeves of Fitzgerald; children and their spouses: Gail & Phil Stokes, William Reeves, Wanda Reeves & Tommy Warner, all of Fitzgerald; step-children: Pam Wiley Brown and Hal & Jennifer Wiley, all of Fitzgerald; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law: Hulin & Edna Reeves of Fitzgerald; sister: Carolyn King of Tifton; sister-in-law: Mazie Reeves of Irwinville; former wife: Bobbie Jean McIntyre of Fitzgerald, as well as, several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, W.A. Reeves.
