Arnold E. Bizzozero, of Marshfield, died Tuesday Feb 23, at the age of 83 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband to his late wife Lois (Carr-Lopez) Bizzozero since 1953. He is survived by his eight children Arnold E. Bizzozero Jr. and his wife Nancy of Waltham, Michael Bizzozero and his wife Abby of Waltham, Debra Stark and her husband Jim of Marshfield, Joyce Keegan of Marshfield, Valerie Smith and her husband Harvey of Plymouth, Elizabeth Orlandi and her husband Rich of Marshfield, Donna Raasch and her husband Ron of Marshfield and Paul Bizzozero and his wife Lisa of Canton. He cherished all of his 25 grandchildren and was a beloved grandfather of the late Alexander E. Bizzozero. He adored his 6 great grandchildren. Brother of Raymond Bizzozero of Norwell, Claire Bonasoni of East Longmeadow, Natalie of Easton, the late John Bizzozero and Edna Nolan. Arnold also leaves his heartwarming friends at the Senior Center. He was raised in Quincy by his late parents John and Elvira Bizzozero and attended Quincy High School.
Arnold entered the Navy in 1943 and was a veteran of WW II. While in the Navy he became a metal smith studying shipbuilding, mechanical work and fabrication throughout the war. Arnold was employed for years in Truck Sales and Service at Brockway and GMC Trucks in Brighton. He was a member of the VFW. Arnold always loved vacationing in the Bahamas.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean St, Rte 139, Marshfield Saturday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St Ann By the Sea Church 591 Ocean St, Marshfield at 10:00 AM.
Visiting hours Friday from 4 to 8 pm.
Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery Marshfield.
