Palas, Steven Wayne “Stevie”, 45, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Southwest Hospital.
He was a member of Valley View Church and worked for the Regional Airport as Maintenance personnel. He is a 1984 graduate of Doss High School and a graduate of Carl D. Perkins Vocational School, Pikeville, Ky. Stevie never met a stranger, always had a smile, and was the happiest son any parents could have.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Stegner.
Survivors include his parents, Steve and Patricia Palas; sister, Vicki Cavanaugh; brother-in-law, Mike Stegner; aunt, June Testa; nieces and nephews, Michelle Palas (Beau), Danielle Harris (Josh), Holly Stewart (Chad), and Michael Hardesty; and loving friend, Karen Adams. Funeral service will be 11am Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be Friday 2pm-8pm at the funeral home.
