Armando “Mindo” Cericola, 91 of Medford died Sunday suddenly in the Everett Nursing & Rehabilitation, Everett, MA.
Born in Boston, he lived in Medford for many years and formerly of East Boston. He was the son of the late Giovanna (DiArcangelis) and Joseph Cericola.
Armando worked with Raytheon in Burlington for many years and retired 20 years ago.
Beloved husband of the late Rita F. (Scaramalla) Cericola. Devoted father of Rita Jean Giacobelli and her husband Vincent of Medford, Richard Cericola of Maui, HI, Lorraine Cericola and her husband Ahmed Orchi of Everett. Loving grandfather of Robert and Gina Giacobelli, Ellissa Miguel and Jamil Orchi. Brother of the late Mary Panetta, Helen Caccarillo, Joseph and Fred Cericola.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday February 26, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8.
Interment will be private.
