Mrs. Margaret Masse, age 77 of Medford, formerly of Boston’s West End, died Monday in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. She was the wife of the late Vincent Masse Sr. Mrs. Masse was born in Boston, and raised in the West End. A graduate of Brighton High School, Class of 1950, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Maria (Alambra) Saia.
Mrs. Masse was considered a great cook and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In her spare time she was known to take occasional trips to Foxwoods. She is survived by two daughters: Karen and Gina Masse and a son Vincent Jr. all of Medford, a sister Tina Smoot of East Boston and a brother Salvatore Saia of Revere. Beloved grandmother of Elaina, Michelle and Michael Masse. Sister of the late Josephine Moore, Domenic, Joseph, Frank and Jimmy Saia.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home,306 Main Street MEDFORD, Friday February 26th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held Thursday 4-8.
