Mr. Daniel A. Hutchins, a former longtime Taunton resident, passed away on Monday, February 22 at his residence after a long courageous battle with lung disease. He was the husband of Karen (DaRosa) Hutchins. He was born 52 years ago in Taun-
ton, the son of the late Robert G. and Bertha (Weeks) Hutchins. He was educated in Taunton and was a graduate of Taunton High School. Prior to his illness, he had been employed as a supervisor for the former Haskon Corp. in Taunton for 10 years. He had previously been employed as a salesman for D & S Motors in Taunton for several
years. Mr. Hutchins was very involved in his children’s lives and activities, having coached Little League in Taunton for a number of years. He was also a Cub Scout
leader, and went on to Cubmaster for Pack 29 for several years. Camping, fishing and trips to New Hampshire were his greatest memories. Daniel cared about people and loved to make them laugh. His legacy was his family and his unconditional love for all
of them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

2 grandchildren: Travis and Mallye Hutchins both of Taunton
His mother-in-law: Dorothy DaRosa of Taunton
several nieces and nephews
Mr. Hutchins was also the father of the late Daniel A. Hutchins, Jr. and the late
Joshua A. Hutchins.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Friday, February 26 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Francis Cemetery (Annex). Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
