Manchester– Leonne R. Proulx, 96, died February 14, 2010 at Mount Carmel Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on February 28, 1913 the daughter of Walter and Aldea (Marcotte) Loranger. She was one of eleven children. She had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for Evangeline Shoe Co. and later at Dorsen-Fleischer Shoe Co.. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Pius X Church.
She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert A. Proulx on February 20, 1998.
Family members include one son, Robert Proulx of Amherst, one daughter, Pauline C. Gaumont of Georgetown, TX., 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: There are no calling hours.
A committal service will take place on Thursday at 9:45 AM in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
