Miss Georgianna M. Dubie, 94, of 38 Belvidere St. died October 3, 2003 in the St. Francis Home after a period of failing health. She was born in Laconia on February 5, 1909, the daughter of John L. and Melanie (Plante) Dubie and had lived in this community all of her life.
Prior to her retirement she had been employed by the F. W. Woolworth Company as a bookkeeper.
Miss Dubie was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church and was a former member of the parish Ladies Guild. She devoted many hours to the New and Used Shop at the Parish Center and donated many handcrafted items for the parish Christmas Fairs over the years.
She is survived by her sister, Edith C. Dubie, with whom she made her home; several cousins and close friends.
There was a calling hour at the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial followed in Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington St., Lakeport at 11 AM. Rev. George Soberick, pastor was the celebrant. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
