Mary C. Ryan (O’Sullivan) age 77 of Norwood passed away suddenly February 22nd at the Boston Medical Center. Born in Boston, she was raised in W. Roxbury and attended Mission High School, Burbank Hospital School of Nursing, she received her Bachelor’s in Science from Boston College & her Master’s in Science from Boston University. She worked as a registered Nurse for Boston Medical Center/University Hospital for many years before retiring. Beloved wife of the late John F. “Jack”. Mother of Brenda Ryan Potter & Virginia “Ginny” Ryan both of Norwood. Sister of Virginia O’Sullivan of NJ, Ann Giambruno & her husband John of GA, John Sullivan of Quincy & the late Julia E. Yienger. Grandmother of Bryanne Tartamella & her husband Michael of Wellesley & Alana R. Howard of Norwood. Also survived by her best buddy Tedy. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Catherine of Siena Church Norwood Friday morning at 9. Interment VA National Cemetery, Bourne Friday at 1 pm.
