Lauago, Taase, 72, of Louisville passed away Saturday February 20, at home with his wife of 35 years at his side.
Originally from Western Samoa, he moved to Louisville in 1976.He was retired from Central State Hospital as a carpenter with 21 years of service. Taase loved to eat,Laugh, work outside and play the lottery. He is survived by his wife Christy (Taft); siblings Sa, Sioni, Muta’aga,and Salafai; Children Sa, Tilomai, Eni, Andrea, Metisa, and Mary; and eight grandchildren.
His Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 1-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
