Mrs. Ruth Ann Luther, 80, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 24 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sammy Smith and Rev. Ronny Griner officiating. Interment will follow in Cannonville Cemetery, Wilcox County. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Luther was born September 26, 1929 in Abbeville to the late B.V. and Blanche Bellamy Farrow. She lived in the community most of her life and was a former employee of Modern Fibers. Mrs. Luther was a member of Cannonville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Luther is survived by a daughter: Linda Stone Miller of Abbeville; son: Virgil Luther of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Dee Dee Stone of Fitzgerald, Jamie Stone of Abbeville and Joey Stone of Fitzgerald; great grandchildren: Kaylea Stone and Kayne Stone, both of Fitzgerald. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edd Luther, a brother, Alvin Farrow and a sister, Louise Sutton.
