Mr. Manuel R. Medeiros, of Taunton, died Saturday, February 20 at his residence following a period of failing health. He was born 60 years ago in Ribeira Grande, St. Michael’s, Azores, the son of the late Manuel Medeiros Camara and Maria Carmo Cabral. He was educated in the Azores, moving to the United States in 1977 and had been a Taunton resident for the past 25 years. Prior to his illness, he had been employed by Market Grinding of Raynham for several years. Mr. Medeiros had also been
employed by several other manufacturing firms in the area. He enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with the family’s children. He attended St. Andrew the
Apostle Church in Taunton.

2 sisters: Zelia Rego Camara of St. Michael’s
Jesuina Moreira and her husband, Jorge of East Providence, R.I.
2 cousins: Eduino and Messias Cabral both of Fall River, Ma.
A longtime companion: Mary C. Figueira of Taunton, Ma.
several nieces, nephews and cousins in Portugal, Providence, R.I. and Fall River, Ma.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Wednesday, February 24 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Kilmer Avenue, Taunton, at 10:00 A.M. In-
terment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
