Lorraine A. (Lanzillo) Cardarelli, 66, of Brockton, died February 21st, at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife of James Cardarelli, and the former wife of the late Robert Boyer.
She was born in Boston, daughter of Josephine (Galimi) Lanzillo of Medford and the late Alfred Lanzillo.
She was brought up in Medford and attended Medford schools.
Lorraine worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston, before moving to the south shore in 1988, and then she was employed by the Miller Golf Company, as a machine operator for 17 years.
In addition to her husband James, she is survived by her daughter Denice Verhoeven of Morgan Hill, CA., her son Robert Boyer of Rockland, her step-son Michael Cardarelli of Northboro, MA. ,and her step-daughter Chrystine Strothman Cardarelli of Fisherville, KY. , her brother Alfred Lanzillo of Burlington, MA., her grandchild J.J. Verhoeven, several nieces and nephews.
Her services will be held on Wednesday February 24th at 11:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland, MA .Her visiting hours will be held on Tuesday February 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9.Memorial Contributions can be made in her name to, James Cardarelli, 86 Webster Street, Apt 4, Brockton, MA 02302.
