Henry J. "Hank" Lavery, 82, of Salem, NH died on Tuesday February 16, 2010 at Holy Family Hospital. Mr Lavery was born in Lawrence and was a 1945 graduate of Lawrence High School. He served with The US Coast Guard during WW II. He worked as a computer support technician for The Internal Revenue Service for 30 years and retired in 1986. Hank was a member of The Lawrence British Club. He was an avid 45's player and motorcyclist and enjoyed geneology .
His family members include his daughter, Jennifer A. and her husband, Michael Wagner of Pelham, NH and his sons, Jon P. and his wife Angela Lavery of Salem, NH and Jeffrey Lavery of Salem, NH. He leaves his sisters, Eleanor M. Lavery of Methuen and Joyce M. Castricone of Methuen and his brother, William Lavery of The Villages, FL. and 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Tuesday February 23, 2010 from 9 to 11 am at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at 11:30 am in St Patrick's Church, Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
