Obituary

WORCESTER – Thomas D.L. Flint Jr., 85, of 23 Orient Street died Thursday, Oct. 2 in the Blaire House after an illness.

His wife Arline (Johnson) Flint predeceased him. He leaves a stepson Ronald Hoyle of Minnesota; a brother Frederick Flint of Worcester; two sisters Ruth Martin of Rutland and Grace Hanson of Holden; several nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester son of Thomas D.L. and Ethel M. (Brewster) Flint Sr.

Mr. Flint was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. He worked for the city of Worcester Street Department for many years retiring in 1988.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6 at 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street (www.Royfuneral.com). Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours are from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, October 6 in the funeral home.
