John R. Burleigh Jr., 89, of Bedford died February 19, 2010 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Brookline, MA on November 21, 1920, he was the son of John R. and Pauline (Crafts) Burleigh. He graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business. He lived in New York, NY many years before moving to Bedford 10 years ago.
Mr. Burleigh was a senior investment banker with Chemical Bank in New York City for over 40 years.
The family includes nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a great great nephew.
A funeral ceremony was held Thursday, February 25, 2010 in the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford.
