Gilbert Edwin Rousseau, age 78, of Swansea passed away February 19, 2010. He was the husband of Helen (Denis) Rousseau and son of the late Zoel and Alda (Lapointe) Rousseau. Mr. Rousseau was a lifelong Swansea resident, a retired self-employed construction worker and later a truck driver for M.C. Souza Co., a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a parishioner of St. Dominic Church.
Besides his wife, he is survived by daughters: Roxane McGlynn of Rehoboth and Kim Perruzzi and her husband Robert of Berkley; siblings: Juliette Denis and Pauline Perault, both of Swansea and Hector Rousseau of Somerset; 4 grandchildren: Mark Sullivan, Christopher McGlynn, Spencer and Chance Perruzzi and several nieces and nephews.
