WORCESTER-Teresa C. (Kuszewski) Cortesi, 87, of Worcester died Thursday, February 18th in Saint Vincent Hospital. Her husband, Rudolph Cortesi died in 1994. She leaves two sons, Richard A. Cortesi and his wife Denise, and John F. Cortesi both of Worcester; a daughter, Deborah A. Wloch and her husband Louis, of Spencer; a stepson, Adolph R. Cortesi, Jr. of Antioch, CA; a stepdaughter, Nancy Baldwin of Anaheim, CA; a sister, Constance M. Lambert and her husband Robert, of Worcester and nieces and nephews. A brother, Bernard Kuszewski predeceased her.
She was born in Webster, the daughter of Vincent and Anna (Mathieu) Kuszewski. Mrs. Cortesi was a nurse for many years at Hahnemann Hospital. She also was a veteran of the US Army serving during World War II as a nurse. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a graduate of South High School and Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing.
The funeral is Saturday, February 20th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street. A calling hour is from 9:30 until 10:30 A.M. Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Haiti Earthquake Fund, St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June Street, Worcester, MA 01602.
