WORCESTER-Alfred T. DuBois, 75, of 14 June Street Terrace, died Wednesday, October 1st in U-Mass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Jane O. (Handy) DuBois; a son, David G. DuBois of Oxford; a daughter, Elaine S. Alt of Shrewsbury; 2 brothers, Adelard D. DuBois of Gardena, CA and Raymond DuBois of New Carrolton, MD; a sister, Doris Migneault of Paxton; 3 grandchildren, Ryan J., Christopher M. and Rebecca S. Alt; several nephews and nieces.
He was born in Shrewsbury, the son of Alfred J. and Ethel (Brehio) DuBoisand graduated from Classical High School and Worcester Junior College. Mr. DuBois was a salesman at Rotmans Furniture for several years retiring in 1994. He was previously employed by Serta Mattress Company for over 20 years.
The funeral service will be held Friday, October 3rd at 12:00 Noon in O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
