Crowell, Richard L Sr. 63, a life long resident of Manomet (Plymouth), unexpectedly passed away at his home on February 13. Son of Margaret and Let (deceased) of Manomet, father of Richard L. Jr. and his wife Christine, Kenneth and his wife Sharon, and Karen Crowell all of Manomet. Brother of Eddie of Harrison, ME, Kathleen Mann of Manomet, and Donald of Pensacola, FL. He also leaves his three grandchildren Joseph, Matthew and Jenna. Richard grew up in Manomet attended Silver Lake Trade School in Kingston. Along with his father and brother, Donald, they ran Crowell’s Transportation (School Bus) for 30 years in Manomet. He also owned and operated Crowell’s Auto Body. He was a member of the John Alden Sportsmen’s Club and the Plymouth Elks. He loved to collect cars. A funeral service will be held at the 2nd Congregational Church in Manomet Friday February 19, at 10:00 AM Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home 619 State Rd. (Rte 3A) Manomet (Plymouth) Thursday February 18, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in the Manomet Cemetery.
