Obituary

Ignatius “Natty” Palermo, of Boston, formerly of Medford, died Friday in the Don Orione Home. He was 66.

Natty was born and raised in Boston's North End. He graduated from Columbus High School and Boston University. A sales man for many years, Natty was a Medford resident and also coached with the Wellington-Glenwood Little League.


Son of the late Gene and Mary Palermo, he was the husband of Diane LaRosa. He was the father of Stephanie O'Connell and her husband Richard of Atlanta, Natalie D'Alessandro and her husband John of Wakefield. He was the brother of Frank Palermo of Arizona and is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday February 16th at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
