Margaret Evans Sneed, 86, Clarksville, died Friday, February 12, 2010, at Fieldstone Place . The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Chaplain (Captain) John Clark Sneed and Rev. Tom Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday and from 2 p.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 18, 1923 in Lewisburg, TN daughter of John Evans and Lucille Liggett Evans. She was a housewife and kept books for her husband's businesses. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was a graduate of Austin Peay Normal. Survivors include her husband, Ed. Sneed, Sr.; two sons Ed Sneed, Jr (Nancy); and John Sneed (Nancy) both of Clarksville; a daughter Beverly Busteed (Bill), Cincinnati, OH; eight grandchildren: Kristi Kimmell, John Clark Sneed, McClain Wills, George Connors, Bob Busteed, Laura Busteed, and John Busteed; and ten great-grandchildren: Kayla Wills, Luke Wills, Meghan Connors, Chad Connors, Grace Connors, John C. Sneed, Jr., David Sneed, Kristen Sneed, Karlee Kimmell, and Calen Kimmell. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ashley Evans. Pallbearers will be George Connors, David Wills, Kodi Kimmell, Bob Busteed, John Busteed, Chad Connors, Luke Wills, and John C. Sneed. Honorary pallbearers are David Sneed and Calen Kimmell.
