Marie (Courtois) Beaudreault 88, formerly of Providence St, and long time resident of South Main St., died Thursday at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Dr. Elphege Beaudreault. She was born in Montreal, a daughter of the late Joseph and Adrienne (Renaud) Courtois. Mrs. Beaudreault was a medical technologist in Canada, and later was the office manager for her husband’s practice as well as a dedicated homemaker. She was also the President of the Ladies Guild for the former Mercy Hospital, which later became known as Fogarty Hospital. She was an avid reader and enjoyed travel, gardening, doing many maintenance projects around her property.
She is survived by six children; Claude Beaudreault of New Orleans, Roger Beaudreault of N. Providence, Marc Beaudreault of Cumberland, Robert Beaudreault of Woonsocket, Helene Chamberlain of Johnston, and Louise Beaudreault of Woonsocket, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, and a sister, Odile Decarie of Montreal. She was also the sister of the late Jacqueline Courtois, and Francoise Ladouceur.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home 463 South Main St, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Holy Family Church. Burial will be private.
