Paul "Kookie" Conceicao, 53, of New Bedford died Tuesday September 16, 2003 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford , the son of the late Joseph and Anna J. (Duarte) Conceicao, he lived in New Bedford most of his life.
He was a parishoner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Survivors include 4 brothers, James Duarte, and his wife Anita, of Chelsea, Francis "Tappy" Conceicao, and his wife Elizabeth, of Japan, Daniel Conceicao, and his wife Bunny, of Acushnet, and Richard "Kiki" Conceicao, and his wife Carole, of New Bedford; a sister, Josephine "Nana" Tyler, and her husband Haywood, of Mattapan; an aunt, Rose Almeida of New Bedford; and several neices, nephews and cousins.He was the brother of the late Elizabeth "Betty" Ray, Joey Conceicao and Anthony Conceicao.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday Ocotber 4, 2003 at 9 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
