WEBSTER - Margaret C. (Shea) Rawlston, 92, of Eastern Avenue, died Tuesday, February 9, in Webster Manor surrounded by her family.
She leaves 3 children, Judith A. Liseno of Webster, Richard Rawlston and his wife Janet of Worcester and Daniel Rawlston and his wife Carol of Lakeland, FL; several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 sons, Chester, Timothy and William Rawlston, by 2 brothers, Timothy and George Shea, and by 3 sisters, Abbie Brick, Anna Pecevich and Mary Leovich.
She was born and raised in Worcester, the youngest of the six children of Daniel and Margaret (Nagle) Shea. She lived in Lakeland, FL for 22 years before moving to Webster in 2004.
Mrs. Rawlston was a mental health attendant at Worcester State Hospital for 25 years before retiring in 1982.
She enjoyed crocheting and decorative painting. She loved spending the day at Nantasket Beach with her family.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 16, from 4:00 to 6:00PM in the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street. Her nephew, Rev. Conrad Pecevich, will conduct a prayer service at 6:00 PM. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Burial will be private.
