Anna M. (Kolomicka) Golebiewski, 87, formerly of Brighton, passed peacefully at the Medway Country Manor on February 10, 2010. She was the wife of Edwin Golebiewski who died in 2009.
Born in Montague, Massachusetts on May 14, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Klepacki) Kolomicki.
Mrs. Golebiewski was employed by Sears and Roebuck Co. for over 40 years.
She is survived by her son Richard and his wife Sandra of Franklin, her daughter Joan Smith and her husband Tom of Canton, three grandchildren, Kristen Cabral, Ryan Smith and John Golebiewski and her great-grandson Cruz Cabral.
She is also survived by two sisters, Sophie Kosakowski of Dorchester and Josephine Barys of Saugus and her sister in-law Maryann Kolomicki of Watertown.
She was the sister of the late Helen Gazarian & Charles Kolomicki.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. on Saturday, February 13 followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Franklin at 12 p.m.
Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury at a later date.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
