Elsie A. Prevost

TEWKSBURY - Elsie A. (Oser) Prevost, age 80, long time resident of Long Island, NY, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, February 7, at home in Tewksbury. She was the beloved wife of William H. Prevost, with whom she had celebrated a 59th wedding anniversary this past May 13th.
She was born in New York City, the daughter of the late August and Margaret (Mayer) Oser, and was raised in Brooklyn, NY. Following her marriage in 1950, she moved to Long Island where she had resided until moving to Tewksbury two months ago.
She was employed by the Town of Huntington as a Recreation Aide at the Huntington Senior Center on Long Island.
She was warmly described as having devoted her life to her husband and their family.
Besides husband "Bill," she is survived by her son Stephen and his wife Rita (DiCenso) Prevost of Tewksbury; her daughter Leslie and her husband Michael Bergbower of Central Islip, NY; and her son Mark Prevost of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren: Emily and Rachel Prevost of Tewksbury, MA; Matthew McGonigle of Marlboro, MA; Seth, Summer, and Devon Prevost of OH.
Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, February 13, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the funeral home, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00pm in the funeral home.
