Obituary

Bounthanh Manikhouth, 63, of Third Ave., Woonsocket, died Monday at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Kongkeo Manikhouth.
Born in Laos, she was a daughter of the late Son and Phouthah Phannavoung. She was raised in Laos and came to the United States almost 30 years ago, residing in Woonsocket for the past 28 years.
Mrs. Manikhouth was employed at several area mills including the Desmond mills.
She enjoyed fishing and cooking. Bounthanh will be remembered as a loving wife and devoted mother. Her family was the center of her life and she was “everybody’s grandmother”.
In addition to her husband of 20 years, she is survived by a son Viroth Phannavoung, three grandsons, Andy and Justin Phannavoung, and Tommy Inthisone, and their mother Donna Bianco, two sisters, Viengkham St. Louis and Tounkham Keomykhom, an uncle Somphou Phannavoung, and a niece and nephew, Phim and Johny Phannavoung, all of Woonsocket. She is also survived by her extended family in Laos and Thailand.
Her funeral service will be Saturday at 8:00 am in the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Following services the procession will depart for Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-9 pm.
