Obituary

Ruth R. Sharron, 88, a life-long resident of Methuen, passed away peacefully at her home, Wednesday February 3.

Ruth was born January 30, 1922 in Methuen to her proud parents James and Marion Rowley. She was educated in the Methuen school system, and graduated from Methuen in 1940. She worked as a Senior Clerk and Typist for the Methuen Health Department.

Ruth later met her beloved late husband Vernon Sharron, and in 1956 were married. They had two children Linda and James Sharron (both deceased). She was a member of the Quaker church and an active member of the First Calvary Baptist Church in North Andover, Massachusetts. She was an avid reader, a devoted family member, and a loyal friend.

She leaves behind her grandsons Derek Webley of Quincy, Alexander Webley of Cambridge, Travis Glover of Woburn, and Scott Silva of Haverhill.

The funeral services will be held Thursday February 11 at 10:00 Am at the Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Burial will be in the Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, all friends are welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Calvary Baptist Church, 586 Massachusetts Ave. N. Andover, Ma. 01845.
