Mary Roberts Corbett, 76, of Ocilla, died Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Irwin County Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, February 9, at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla. Interment will follow in Brushy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Corbett was born December 19, 1933, in Irwin Co. to the late James Walton and Fannie Bell Boykin Roberts. She lived in Irwin Co. most of her life and was a former resident of Atkinson Co. Mrs. Corbett was a member of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Corbett is survived by a son, Franklin (Anita) Bryant of Alapaha, GA and a daughter, Debra Ann (Elton) Cribb, of Ambrose, GA.; six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great great-grandson, also, sister-in-law and care giver, Vernell Roberts, and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Corbett, one sister and four brothers.
