Obituary

Clement P. LaTulippe, 83, of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, February 5, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.
Clement was born on July 21, 1926 in Derry, NH to the late Edward and Philomene (Rolin) LaTulippe. He was educated in the Derry schools and was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, class of 1945. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Princeton, during World War II. After the service, Clement attended Indiana Technical College in Fort Wayne, Indiana and retired in 1987 from New England Electric Company where he was a computer analyst. After his retirement he enjoyed many winters with his wife Jeanne at their home in New Port Richey Florida. He lived in Methuen, MA for many years prior to moving to Salem, NH.
Clement was a member of the Holy Name Society, the Knights of Columbus, and was a Eucharistic Minister at the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Methuen. He was a parishioner of Saint Monica’s Church in Methuen.
Clement is survived by his wife Jeanne L. (Dubois) LaTulippe of Salem, NH, with whom he shared 49 years of marriage; one daughter, Nancy M. White and her husband Walter of Methuen; sisters, Elaine Rendo of Derry, NH and Leona Martell of Chelmsford, MA; brother-in-law, Raymond Powers of Derry, NH; as well has many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of the Dubois Family and many nieces and nephews. Clement was predeceased by his sisters, Irene Powers and Estelle Freda.
Clement loved life, had a wonderful sense of humor and was proud of his French heritage. He enjoyed doing carpentry projects and yard work at his home and he was strongly dedicated to his family and his faith.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Salemhaven Rehab and Nursing Center and Rockingham Visiting Nurses Association and Hospice for their care and compassion of our loved one.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday February 9, 2010 from 3 to 7 pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday February 10 at 11:00 am in St Monica Church, Methuen. The burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
Memorial contributions in Mr. LaTulippe’s name may be made to Rockingham Visiting Nurses Association and Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH 03833.
