McMAHAN, JAMES ERNEST "ERNIE" "MAC," 87, of Louisville, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010.
He retired after 41 years as a messenger for Brinks Armored Car, was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He also belonged to American Legion Highland Post #201 and was a Teamster Retiree Local #89.
Mr. McMahan is survived by his wife, Joan (Ahlhaus) Iglehart McMahan; son, Gary W. McMahan (Tessie); granddaughter, Sara B. Williams (Brent); great-grandson, Tyler Williams; sisters, Beatrice Waddell and Vernice Ferguson and good friend, George Feller.
His service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Most Blessed Sacrament, 3509 Taylor Blvd., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 2-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
