Ana M. (Lopes) Lopes, 94, of New Bedford died September 29, 2003 at Kristen Beth Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was the daughter of the late Pedro F. and Maria J. Lopes.
Born in Calejao, Sao Nicolau, Cape Verde, she had lived in New Bedford since 1960.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
Mrs. Lopes was formerly employed at Oliver Sportswear for many years until her retirement.
She enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include several step-children, nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Olavo B. Goncalves.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Thursday, October 2nd at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
Visiting hours Wednesday, October 1st from 5-8 PM.
