WORCESTER – Mr. John D’Acri, 76, passed away Friday February 5th at UMass University Hospital.
He is survived by his brother, Rudy D’Acri and his wife Eva of Worcester, his longtime friend, Darrlyn Dolan of Leicester, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Mr. D’Acri was pre-deceased by his brothers, Angelo, Louis, Robert and Edward D’Acri and his sister Rachael D’Acri.
He was born May 26, 1933 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late Joseph and Conjetta(Fazio) D’Acri.
John was a lifelong resident of Worcester and was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade School. He was a well known businessman who owned and operated John’s Used Auto Parts in Bellingham, Ma. for over fifty-two years.
He served his country in the Army. John enjoyed his daily morning coffee group with his close friends at the local McDonalds and Broadway restaurant. John was a parishoner of Our Lady of Loreto Church.
His funeral will be held Tuesday February 9th from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Loreto Church Worcester at 10am.
