Marie D. Calleri, 86, of Tamarac Drive, died Thursday, January 28, 2010. She was the widow of Allesio P. Calleri, who died on January 6th. They had been married for 67 years.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Julia (Tetreault) Calci. She had been a resident of Greenville for 25 years. She had been a weaver at International Braid in Providence and an assembler for AT Cross in Lincoln before retiring. She was a two term member of the Lincoln School Committee and the Lincoln Democratic Committee, a former den mother and a former member of the Cub Scout Round Table.
She is survived by two sons, Mario Calleri of Massachusetts and Guy Calleri of New York; her three grandsons; Michael, Richard and David, and a sister Lillian George of Warwick. She was the sister of the late Antonio and Frank Calci.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Chrisitian Burial at 9:30 in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-7pm.
