Fred "Chip" Emilio Grillo, age 72, beloved husband for 30 years to Kathleen Grillo, of Palmer Neck Road passed away February 3, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a U.S. Navy Construction Battalion veteran. He and his wife Kathy owned and operated K-Builders and Remodelers, Inc. for over 30 years.
In addition to his wife, Chip is survived by his daughters Cheryl Tourville and Lisa Tobiassen both of Stonington, Karen Graham, Kimberly Bernstein, Kathleen Dow; sons Keith Grillo and Kevin Grillo; eleven grandchildren; his brothers David Grillo and John Grillo; his mother Ethel King Grillo; and many dear family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his son Kurt Grillo; daughter Rosalind Reeves; and his father Emilio Grillo.
His family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Monday, Feb. 8th from 10am to 12:30pm followed by words of remembrance.
