Raymond J. Belli, 49 of New Bedford died September 28, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief courageous battle with cancer.
He was the husband of Norma J. (McHenry) Belli and son of the late Emilio A. and Elvira (Caldeira) Belli.
Mr. Belli was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Mr. Belli was employed with Hollingsworth and Vose Company in East Walpole for 13 years. He had previously worked at Chamberlain Manufacturing Company in New Bedford.
Mr. Belli enjoyed spending time with his family and was loved by many. He was an avid toy collector and enjoyed being a Mr. Fix-it.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kevin Belli of New Bedford; 5 daughters, Kristina Belli, Kaitlin Belli, Karla Belli, Kerri Belli and Kasey Belli all of New Bedford; 3 sisters, Diane Arruda and Elaine Meehan, both of New Bedford and Theresa Coulombe of Old Lyme, CT; a grandson, Seth Belli of New Bedford; an aunt, Rose Sykes of New Bedford; many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Karen Belli.
