WORCESTER__Sandra D. (Darling) Mellor, 72, of Worcester, died Sunday, January 31, in her home with her family. She leaves three daughters, Dee Anne Bouffard and her husband, John of Dudley, Lorinne Mellor, Jeanne Chasse-Giroux and her husband, Robert all of Worcester; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, a sister, Jean Darling Harding of Placentia, CA and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Russell Darling. Sandra was born in Worcester, a daughter of Ralph and Leone(Records) Darling and lived here all of her life.
Mrs. Mellor was an accomplished, artist, sculptor and jewelry designer. She graduated from the former Commerce High School and received a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts from Clark University. She also studied at the Worcester Art Museum. Sandra was a devoted Red Sox fan. She loved animals and cherished the time she spent camping with her family.
