Susan Hancock Stanfield, 49, of Summerville, wife of John Calvin Stanfield, died Tuesday, February 2, 2010.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 5, 2010 at 5 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Burial will be private.
Susan was born October 24, 1960 in Long Beach, California, daughter of the late Patsy Ann Godfrey Hancock and Carl Eugene Hancock of North Charleston. She graduated from Summerville High School and attended Trident Technical College. She enjoyed camping and being a mother. She worked for SKF Aerospace Bearings.
Surviving in addition to her husband and father are: 1 son: John Calvin Stanfield, III of Summerville, 1 sister and 3 brothers: Colleen Hancock Ewers (Ernie) of Summerville, Tom Hancock of Summerville, Steve Hancock of Austin, Texas and Greg Hancock (Becky) of Ladson, several nieces and nephews.
