Grace A. Marsh of Plymouth and formerly of Sandwich passed away at home after a brief illness at home. Predeceased by her husband, Oscar P. Marsh in 1997. Grace was born in Sandwich on March 24, 1915 and graduated from the Henry T. Wing School in Sandwich.
She is survived by three daughters; June and her husband Lawrence Gould of Chelmsford, Deborah and her husband William LaBreck of Plymouth, Sharon and her husband David Crowell of Hudson, NH, Two sons; William and his wife Lynn of Tewksbury and Jon and his wife Karen of Plymouth. She was also predeceased by her daughter Ina Marsh Wirzburger and granddaughter Jennifer Lynn Marsh.
Grace leaves nine grandchildren; John Wirzburger, Amy Crowell Murray , Todd LaBreck, Christa Marsh Silvius, and David Marsh all of Plymouth, Wendy Wirzburger Hall of Harwich, Timothy Crowell of Hudson, NH, Emma Marsh Hatch of Virginia, and Ethan Marsh of Tewksbury. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; Julian Wirzburger, Jessica Crowell, and Kate, Max, and Emily Hall. She is survived by one brother, Charles Wennerstrom of Bourne.
Grace enjoyed cooking, especially her famous Swedish coffee rings that were enjoyed by so many. In years past, Grace could be seen picking cranberries by hand along the ditches of their cranberry bogs in Ellisville. Music and reading were also favorite pastimes.
A memorial service in her memory will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd., Plymouth (Manomet) on Saturday, February 6 at 11:00 AM. A visiting hour will be held an hour prior from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
