Obituary

Rosalba (Taddeo) McWilliam 58, of Franklin, died peacefully at home Monday February 1, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Alex McWilliam.
Born in Santa Maria del Molise, Italy February 3, 1951 a daughter of Biagino Taddeo of Franklin, and the late Itala (Iadinardi) Taddeo, she came to America in 1958 with her parents, and settled in Franklin.
She was educated in Franklin schools, and was a 1970 graduate of Franklin High School. She also is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston.
For more than 20 years Rosalba worked as a mammography technician at Milford Regional Medical Center, until illness forced her to stop working.
She enjoyed time with her family, gardening, sewing, decorating, travel, cooking and entertaining.
Surviving in addition to her husband and her father is a daughter Gina R. McWilliam of Franklin, a brother Elio Taddeo and his wife Maria (Bertone) Taddeo of Franklin, a sister Antionette M. Finnegan and her husband Brian of Franklin, her sister in law Karen (Evans) Taddeo of Wrentham, and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Flavio Taddeo of Wrentham, who died in 2008.
Rosalba’s family would like to extend their special “Thanks” to the doctor’s, nurses, and staff at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Milford for their extraordinary care, compassion, and support.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday February 5th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. (www.franklinfuneral.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will follow at the family lot in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are Thursday from 4-8PM.
