Lawrence: Mrs. Irene B. Hodkinson, 78, died Sunday at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, Mrs. Hodkinson had been an area resident all of her life. For many years she had owned and operated the concession stand at the Lawrence Recreation Center and was always there to lend a helping hand.
The daughter of the late Emile & Bertha (Asselin) Poulin, she is survived by her family:

Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass to be celebrated on Friday at 11:00am, at St. Theresa Church. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. At the request of the family there are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Racicot Funeral Home, 256 Broadway, Lawrence.
