Fall River - Laurette R. (Couture) Brodeur, 85, of Westport died at Charlton MemorialHospital, Fall River on September 25, 2003 after a brief illness. She was the widow ofNorman O. Brodeur, Sr.
She was born in Fall River daughter of the late Joseph and Alida(Courtemanche) Couture and resided in Westport for the past 30 years. She was acommunicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport and a former member of NotreDame Church, Fall River. She was formerly employed by Shelburne Shirt Co., FallRiver.
Survivors include 3 sons: Normand O. Brodeur, Jr. of Somerset, Roger P.Brodeur of Westport and Robert E. Brodeur of Somerset; 2 daughters: Suzanne M.Watjen and Jacalyn M. Saulnier both of Fall River; a brother: Oliver Couture of FallRiver; a sister: Leonette Gagnon of Willingboro, NJ; 8 grandchildren; and severalnieces & nephews.
She was mother of the late Jeanne E. Brodeur and sister of the lateEvelyn McDonald.Relatives and friends are invited to attend:

Funeral from Potter Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2003 at 10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Notre DameChurch, Fall River.
Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
