Hilda Joe Adams Cartwright, 90, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Tifton, died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Omaha Hospice House in Omaha, Nebraska. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Dr. Wayne Roe and Rev. Paul Thomas will officiate.
Mrs. Cartwright was born on May 18, 1919 in Tift County and was the daughter of Joe B. Adams and Kate McCrea Adams, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, H. L. Cartwright, who died on January 13, 2009.
Mrs. Cartwright is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and George Webb of Omaha, Nebraska; her granddaughter and her husband, Hope and Matt Haney of Omaha, Nebraska; her great granddaughter, McKenna Haney of Omaha, Nebraska; one niece and her husband, Doris and Walker Irwin of Roswell; and two sisters-in-law, Miss Sadie Cartwright of Tifton and Sister Maureen Cartwright of Atlanta.
