AUBURN - Wesley S. Stevens, Sr., 91, died Friday, January 29, in the Life Care Center of Auburn.
He leaves his wife of 37 years, Emily J. (Moskwa) Stevens; 2 sons, Wesley S. Stevens, Jr. and his wife Judith of Charlton and Lee A. Stevens and his wife Carol of Dudley; 7 grandchildren, Wesley S. Stevens III, Lee A. Stevens, Jr., Carla Weimer, Robin Richard, Jennifer Roberts, Linda Lottter and Nicholas Stevens; 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Olive Anderson of St. Cloud, FL; nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his son Robert W. Stevens in 1970.
He was born and raised in Spencer, the son of Ambrose and Mildred (Fitzsimonds) Stevens. He resided in Charlton and Webster before moving to Del Ray Beach, Florida in 1978. He moved to Auburn in 2009.
Mr. Stevens was a foreman at Wymon Gordon Company in Worcester for many years before retiring in 1975. He was a member and past master of the Bay Path Masonic Lodge in Brookfield. He enjoyed golfing.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations in his name may be made to a charity of the donors choice. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.
