Bobby Joel Brickle, 68, of Tifton died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at Tift Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2010, at Lenox Baptist Church. Rev. Lamar Harris will officiate with burial to follow in Lenox Cemetery. Deacons of Lenox Baptist will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Brickle was born on November 22, 1941 in Lenox (Cook County) and was the son of Harry Lafayette Brickle and Annie Mae Stivender Brickle, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Harry Leroy Brickle. He was a retired metal worker and a member of Lenox Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard.
Mr. Brickle is survived by his wife of 38 years, Juanita Gaskins Brickle of Tifton; four sisters and their spouses, Maxine B. and Dan Gibson of Chula, Wilhelmina B. and Buddy Talley of Chula, Trudy Haley of Lenox and Dr. and Mrs. John Inman of Albany; one brother and sister-in-law, Edward Leon and Anne Brickle Tequesta, Florida; one sister-in-law, Wilma Brickle of Dawson; and several nieces and nephews.
