LAKIN, SUSAN (HUSTON), 69, of Wellesley, formerly of Marblehead and Harrisburg, PA, died peacefully in the comfort and care of her family at home on January 28, 2010 following a courageous five-year battle with cancer (multiple myeloma). She was the beloved wife of Robert F. Lakin and the devoted mother of Thomas C. Lakin, both of Wellesley. Sue is also survived by her twin sister, Linda H. Clement, of Harpswell, Maine and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service celebrating Sue’s life will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 am at Trinitarian Congregational Church, 53 Cochituate Rd (Route 27), Wayland. Interment will be at a later date in Pemaquid, Maine.
